When it’s time to relax, you’ll find Tara putting in some serious miles. She created the local run club in her community, Benicia Run Club, and leads weekly runs with a fun and social squad! Together with her husband, she also loves to travel and caring for her many animals which include a dog, cat, two rabbits, and even a horse.
As Vice President of Retail Engagement, Tara Maffeo oversees the Sephora at Kohl’s retail business, along with Training Design, Delivery and Field Communications.
Prior to her current role, Tara has held roles in store technology, innovation, labor planning and project management.

Passion for Good
Tara serves on the leadership committees of both the Sephora chapter as well as the National chapter, which drives EllesVMH strategies across all maisons.
EllesVMH was launched in 2007 by LVMH Inc, with the ambition of supporting the professional development of women in all positions, at every level of the organization. The group’s mission is to achieve 50/50 gender parity across all leadership within the group.
Tara supports the Humane Society of the North Bay in helping provide lifesaving care for homeless animals in the community. She helps manage the volunteer program for HSNB, social media efforts, and providing extra dog walks and snugs of course!
